How this WHOIS lookup works

Every query is answered by the authoritative registry through RDAP (Registration Data Access Protocol), the structured successor to the legacy WHOIS port-43 protocol. Because the data comes straight from the registry, the registration date, expiry date and registrar shown here match the official record at the moment of the lookup.

The report is laid out for A4 paper: one sheet, hairline rules, no background ink. Use the print button to save it as a PDF for audits, domain portfolio reviews, trademark files or renewal evidence.

How do I check when a domain expires?
Enter the domain name and run the lookup. The expiry date appears in the Registration panel, together with a badge counting the days remaining before expiration.
Why are the registrant details hidden?
Most registries redact personal contact data under GDPR and ICANN policy. Registrar and abuse contact information stays public, which is enough for most documentation needs.
Is the WHOIS report free to export as PDF?
Yes. The report prints to a single A4 page from your browser, so you can save it as a PDF at no cost and without an account.
